Could you represent employers on our Pension Board?

We have a vacancy for an Employer Representative on the Avon Pension Fund Local Pension Board.

Location: Bath 
Commitment: 12 days a year + training

Role overview 

We are looking for a volunteer to join the Pension Board as an employer representative. You will give the Fund’s employers a voice and join a group with diverse expertise to provide informed advice and guidance to Fund officers. You will help improve the Fund’s governance and administration functions and make recommendations to the Pensions Regulator and the LGPS Advisory Board.

Will I be paid?

The roles are voluntary, however expenses including travel and training will be paid.

Selection process 

Candidates will be assessed and selected by an independent panel of officers based on suitability and a discussion interview.
