Ahead of the implementation of the Pension Dashboard, it’s very important that all member addresses are recorded in the correct format, particularly the postcode.
There are two reasons for this:
1. It is more likely member will receive their mail, if correctly addressed.
2. The address and postcode will be used as an identifier for members to log in to the Pension Dashboard once it is live. If they are unable to log in and contact us or you, there is a timescale of 10 working days to correct the record.
The correct format:
- House number and street name to be on the same line.
- The postcode must have a space between the first and second parts for example AB4 3HY, not AB43HY.
- The postcode must be in the postcode field.
We regularly check for incorrectly formatted addresses and will be in touch if we identify any errors.
